I have been debating about the expense of a new camera for awhile. The one i have now was purchased 6 years ago, on a college budget. It has been with me through all the embarrasing moments of me turning to an adult. i.e. accidents on tricked out golf carts, that have me being thrown from the full sized couch that was mounted on the backseat and being empailed in the hip on a deer antler, and explaining to my boss that I was not intoxicated when it sounded like a good idea. I am currently working on turning old family photos into portraits. I want to paint people, and my first portrait,a copy of a portrait of queen victoria, (which i will post as soon as I find the best way to do that). I decided to try my hand at my family. My background: I took som art classes in school. I studied business and language arts, but I always managed to fit an art class in my schedule. My family seems to like my paintings.
